LOT OF SIX ESPECIALLY CRISP ARMED CIVIL WAR HARD IMAGES OF UNION SOLDIERS.1) 1/6-plate tintype of an NCO holding sword and American flag with a grand luminary canton American flag. Image has indiscernible name "Werner Joseph Er..." and "21 1/62". 2) Large CDV size tintype, about 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" of seated 2nd Lieutenant holding a fancy officer's sword that has been gilded and jeweled. Housed in fine hard rubber Union case. 3) 1/6-plate tinted tintype. Young recruit, probably in 1861, holding what appears to be a Suhl musket, "US" buckle, enlisted frock with shoulder scales. Housed in patriotic hard rubber case. 4) 1/6-plate tintype of Corporal with import musket, wearing gauntlets, cartridge box, belt and cap box. 5) CDV sized tintype of full standing infantryman with unknown musket with octagonal breech and a fixed brass handled saber bayonet wearing cartridge box and "US" belt. 6) 1/6-plate tintype of seated, decked out infantryman with tinted belt buckle, musket with sling, bummer's kepi and two revolvers stuck in his belt. Fine hard rubber patriotic case. SIZE: CONDITION: 1) Very good. 2) Very good. 3) Image is very good, quite crisp with light flaking at bottom edge.
