OUTSTANDING FRENCH ENAMELED SILVER ROUND HINGED BOX WITH PAINTED SCENE.The painted scene inset into the top shows a man and a woman in a garden setting with figural fountain with two white love birds. The watercolor is signed lower left "Vallir..." Blue enamel sides and sliver base. The interior having some of its gold wash present, hallmarked with a Roman head facing right and diamond with "AD".
