VICTORIAN BRASS AND PLATED FLATIRON.Mid-19th century Scotland. This fine example of typical form. The removable top section, latching with scrolled brass lever, opening to review the cast iron slug of conforming shape. The iron with baluster turned handle joined to cast brass S-scrolled supports. SIZE: 6-3/4" h x 8" l x 3-3/4" w. CONDITION: All original with original surface. Minor pitting to plated surface and with normal and expected wear to wooden handle.
