FINE SHIRVAN ORIENTAL RUG.Late 19th-early 20th century, south Caucasus. With three aligned crab medallions alternating with flower heads on an ivory field with dense arrangement of exotic animals including birds and crabs, all within a burgundy main border of floral design within multiple polychrome guard borders. SIZE: 4' 8" x 7' 3". CONDITION: Normal and expected in-use wear. Good color and pile remaining. Overall even loss to fringe. Otherwise very good. 52829-34 hmg (800-1,200)
