RARE UNITED STATES LIGHTHOUSE ESTABLISHMENT SETH THOMAS NO. 2 REGULATOR CLOCK.Circa 1910 or shortly thereafter New York. The enameled dial marked "U.S.L.H. ESTAB." for the United States Lighthouse Establishment founded in 1910. The oak regulator of typical form with eight day time only spring driven movement driven by a brass circular weight, the original pendulum with brass clad bob. SIZE: Case height 36" x 15-3/4" d x 9-1/2" throat width. CONDITION: Movement appears intact and operational. Case with old cleaned surface and later varnish. Case retains original Seth Thomas paper label mounted at base of throat. Dial retains original painted numerals and inscription with some paint loss between the V and VII in the chapter ring.
