ESA - TWO SMALL SHIP'S BLOCKS TOGETHER WITH A SMALL IVORY BOX WITH LID AND A CHILD'S WHALEBONE BOWLING SET.Second half 19th century American. Two small ivory ship's blocks; the larger with single roller; the smaller with double rollers. The small whalebone box with pewter binding and sliding lid with fan-shaped pull. Child's bowling set comprised of 6 turned and carved bowling pins and a single ball. SIZE: Ship blocks: 4-3/4" h x 5-1/2" l. Whalebone box: 5-1/2" l overall. Bowling set pins: 1" h. Ball: 3/8" dia. CONDITION: Ship blocks have original surfaces and very fine color and patina. Whalebone box good overall with old losses at one end in area of lid.
