BRASS CHELSEA PILOT HOUSE CLOCK.1915-1919, Chelsea Clock Company, Chelsea Massachusetts. This fine wall clock with 9-1/4" dial and burnished brass case with the serial number 101038 engraved on back plate. The silver dial with Arabic numeral chapter ring centering a subsidiary seconds dial stamped with "CHELSEA", the minute and hours hands in black paint above a time only aperture beneath the retailer's name "REED & BARTON CO. NEW YORK". The eight day movement not inspected but appears clean and operational. Clock is accompanied by winding key. SIZE: Case diameter 12" x 3" d. Dial: 9-1/4". CONDITION: The case and dial in very fine original condition. Movement as previously stated. Very good condition overall. 52903-2 HMG (3,000-5,000)
