THREE GALLON STONEWARE JUG WITH ELABORATELY DECORATED COBALT BLUE BIRD IN A TREE.Mid-19th century, Bennington, Vermont. With impressed "J&E Norton" stamp and marked as 3 gallons. Vibrant cobalt decoration, the bird with long plumage perched in a large, leafless tree. SIZE: 15-1/2" h. CONDITION: With minor unevenness to color of glaze, notably to proper left side of tree.
