QUEEN ANNE TIGER MAPLE LOWBOY.Second half 18th century, possibly Pennsylvania. The rectangular three board top with stepped molded edge projecting above the conforming case fitted with a long drawer over three aligned short drawers raised on cabriole legs with shaped and notched returns terminating in circular platform pad feet. SIZE: 31" h x 38-1/2" w x 23" d. CONDITION: Structurally good. Brasses are later replacements. Top has been scrubbed, retaining some old, dark water stains. Backboard original. Tight shrinkage crack proper left front corner on seam. No damage or restoration noted. 52829-72 HMG (2,000-4,000)
