The rectangular dovetailed case with hinged, sloping lid resting on lopers, opening to an interior fitted with compartments and small drawers with scalloped and shaped dividers and a central storage compartment over four graduated long drawers with thumb molded edges on a molded base raised on bracket feet with scalloped returns. SIZE: 40" h x 34" w x 15-1/2" d. CONDITION: Surfaces repolished with good, rich color. Matched set of oval brasses later replacements. Top fascia board of interior, framing pigeonholes, now absent; prospect door absent. Lid hinges reset or later replacements. Desk originally in two parts. 52829-90 HMG (3,000-5,000)
