RARE WILLIAM AND MARY OAK HANGING CORNER CABINET.

Early 18th century England. The wide molded cornice joined to the conforming cabinet with recessed molded panels centering a panel door mounted with original iron strap hinges, shield shaped escutcheon, and decorated iron lock. The interior fitted with two fixed shelves on a molded plinth. The cabinet door with original painted adornment of delicate scrolling foliate design within green painted moldings. SIZE: 48" h x 27" w (overall) x 17" d. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: Cabinet retains original rosehead nails with original backboards and hardware. Very good overall condition. 52806-37 HMG (2,500-3,500)
