Circa 1882, Sweden. Intricately carved in deep relief with a fanciful collage of carved figures. A central tablet with date "1882" framed by oak leaves above an arch with crown above letter "F", flanked by flags over a panel of a gentleman smoking a long stem pipe, flanked by figures seated drinking at a table, further flanked by a fanciful lizard and lion above a scrolling foliate border. The background rendered as a hill from which conifers are growing, next to which a gentleman with pipe descends the hill on bicycle, opposing a soldier with sword on horseback. The ends feature an ear of corn carved as a support to which is attached a carved link chain from which the key rack is suspended. SIZE: 15-1/2" h x 25-1/2" l.
