FINE RARE AND WHIMSICAL FIGURAL CARVED WATCH HUTCH.Early 19th century New England. The hutch with sliding door centering a circular glass panel, mounted with a hanging nail, joined to the backboard. Crested with a carved female nude upper torso. The apron carved with a saddled horse on stippled ground terminating in a scrolled tailpiece border. The watch hutch made of poplar. SIZE: 9" h x 2-3/4" w. CONDITION: With original dry, old surfaces. Minor old age fissure on sliding door beneath watch window now stable.
