VICTORIAN GOTHIC PAINTED AND CARVED WATCH HUTCH IN THE FORM OF A HOUSE.Last quarter 19th century, American. Carved in the form of a Victorian home with simulated Gothic leaded windows, twin chimneys, double front door and iron fence with architectural finials. The house painted with simulated brick front. Above the front door is a circular opening on which to display a pocket watch. SIZE: 9-1/4" h x 6-1/2" w x 5" d. CONDITION: With overall dry, crusty painted surface, now age darkened with light soiling and some abrasions. Two holes to left and right of doorway on which small lights may have been fastened, now absent, otherwise good. 52789-9 HMG (400-600)
