HUDSON VALLEY PINE HUTCH TABLE IN RED PAINT.Early 19th century, New York. The circular top with mortised supports, hinged on a rod to the trestle form base with storage well on shaped supports, raised on chamfered shoe feet. The whole in early, if not original, terracotta red paint. SIZE: 27-1/2" h x 44" dia. CONDITION: Early paint as mentioned. Normal and expected in-use wear. Top surface scrubbed and with some light water staining with stable thin shrinkage cracks on seams. Expected abrasions on base and feet. Table retains original dowel pins and early, if not original, pivoting rod. Very good overall. 52896-7 HMG (3,000-5,000)
