THEOREM ON VELVET WITH FLORAL FILLED BASKET.Mid 19th century, New England. Depicting a woven basket filled with polychrome flowers in the center of which is a small nest of bluebird hatchlings at feeding time with female perched above yellow flower head. Housed in a lemon gold gilt frame. SIZE: 16-1/4" x 20" sight. 20" h x 24" w overall. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT.
