GROUP OF THREE HOLLOW CUT SILHOUETTES OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN. 2nd half 19th century, American. The first example of a mother and child, one holding a purse and one with small toy whip. The second of a young girl with ribbon tied hair, a book in her hand wearing a long dress and pants. The third, a woman in gown and cap, a book in her right hand, the figure highlighted in gold accents. All three housed in period frames. SIZE: 9-1/4" x 6-3/4" sight. 7-1/4" x 5-1/2" sight. 9-1/2" x 6-1/2" sight. CONDITION: Very good overall, with minor and minimal foxing and toning. 52789-12 HMG (500-800)
