FINE CARVING OF A CURLEW ON STAND.First half 20th century, New England. Carved in the style of George Boyd of Seabrook, New Hampshire. The curlew carved from the solid with delicately shaped beak and tack eyes. The plumage in earth tones of grey and brown, mounted on a pole joined to a driftwood stand. SIZE: 16" h x 17-1/2" l. Overall length: 17-1/2". CONDITION: With all original surface, no damage or restoration noted. Surfaces original with very light soiling. Minimal and minor abrasions at tip of tail, otherwise very good. 52880-1 HMG (600-900)
