VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD AND MOTHER OF PEARL INLAID CASQUE FORM TEA CADDY.Third quarter 19th century, England. The rectangular hinged lid with sloping top and domed center, opening to an interior fitted with a pair of lidded tea bins centering a compartment with clear glass waste bowl. The caddy with sloping sides, the whole with foliate mother of pearl inlays, raised on ribbed feet. SIZE: 7-3/4" h x 12-1/2" l x 6-1/2" d. CONDITION: Tea caddy professionally cleaned and re-polished. Old shrinkage crack at rear of lid, stabilized and polished. Fleabites on edge of waste bowl. Otherwise very good. 52829-99 HMG (800-1,200)
