ANTIQUE CLOUDBAND KAZAK ORIENTAL RUG.Late 19th century, Caucasus. The rug with three aligned medallions in shades of indigo in the cloudband design on a wine-red field with polychrome animals and geometric devices with latch-hook borders. The ivory main border with interlocking crab design. SIZE: 3' 10" x 8' 3". CONDITION: Rug retains strong palate. Small areas of reweave professionally done.
