FINE COLLECTION OF 26 PIECES OF BENNINGTON AND ROCKINGHAMWARE.

Though none of these pieces are marked "Bennington", many can be ascribed to the factory such as the covered pipkin is photographed on page 104 of Bennington Pottery and Porcelain By Barrett and the covered tobacco jar page 95. The lot consists of a 10-1/2" h tulip form vase, 8-1/2" and 8" candlesticks, 7" covered tobacco jar, 7-1/2" covered pipkin, two 5-1/2" h cow creamers, a 5-1/2" bear bank, a 4" h chicken on basket bank, a 2-1/2" h pedestal ed soap dish, a 9" diameter bundt cake mold, a 10" h hexagonal pitcher, 8" planter, 6" diameter soap dish, 5" pitcher, three 10-1/4" plates, three 9" plates, a 12-1/2" diameter milk pan, a 9" diameter milk pan, 8-1/2" diameter bowl, 6-1/2" cut corner dish, and a 7" round covered serving dish. SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing", South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: Generally very good, no major issues seen, pipkin with hairlines to base. 52806-85 WAG (1,000-1,500)
