LARGE GRAPE GATHERING BASKET.19th century France. The large and exaggerated buttocks basket form, woven with handles at either end and with a central bent branch carrying handle. SIZE: 15-1/2" h x 43" w x 16-1/2" d. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: Structurally intact with normal and expected in-use wear.
