FINE EARLY AMERICAN BIRCH DROP LEAF HARVEST TABLE.First quarter 19th century, probably New Hampshire. The rectangular two board top with hinged leaves projecting above the conforming apron raised on delicate vase-, ring-, and reel-turned legs terminating in elongated turnip feet. The table with original Spanish brown paint. SIZE: 28-3/4" h x 19-3/4" w (closed), 34-1/2" w (open) x 71-1/2" d. CONDITION: Scrubbed top and leaves with vestiges of original paint. Leaf supports and hinges original. Normal and expected paint wear to lower legs. Overall very fine, untouched original condition. 52738-30 HMG (2,000-4,000)
