THREE AMERICAN BRAIDED RUGS.Late 19th-early 20th century, New England. 1) An oval example in varied warm earth tones. 2) An oval example wrought in deep rich colors incorporating distinctive accents. 3) A circular example in varied soft colors and tones, wrought with a central needlepoint rondel depicting a house on a wooded hill with birds in flight overhead. SIZE: 1) 5' 9" x 8' 6". 2) 4' 10" x 6' 3". 3) 3' 9" dia. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing", South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: 1) Very good overall with normal and expected light surface soiling. 2) Very good overall with varied and vibrant palate. 3) Very good overall with light normal and expected in-use wear. 52806-156 hmg (400-600)
