FINE SHAKER COMMUNITY LIFT-TOP PINE STORAGE CHEST.Mid-19th century attributed to either Hancock, Massachusetts or New Lebanon, New York. The rectangular chest with hinged lid of pegged stile and panel construction. The lid with breadboard ends. The whole in strong, original, vibrant red paint. Note: top of posts with interesting chamfered details. SIZE: 21" h x 49" l x 18-1/2" d. CONDITION: Excellent, untouched original condition with minor abrasions. 52738-6 HMG (1,500-3,000)
