SHERATON MAPLE AND BIRD'S EYE MAPLE CHEST OF DRAWERS.Second quarter 19th century, probably New York. The rectangular top with applied, rounded tiger maple edge above the conforming case, fitted with four graduated long drawers with cockbeaded edges and bird's eye maple panels. The case sides with recessed panels raised on spool- and ring-turned legs terminating in ball feet. The chest fitted with good, original molded, foliate decorated brass pulls. SIZE: 39" h x 41-1/2" w x 21" d. CONDITION: Chest retains original surface with minimal, normal and expected wear. Backboards and legs original. Brasses as noted.
