PAIR OF GEORGE AINLEY CONTINUOUS ARM WINDSOR CHAIRS.Circa 1998, Perkinsville, Vermont. Each benchmade example signed beneath the seat "Made by Geo. Ainley Perkinsville, Vermont 1998". The molded crest rail continuing to flat paddle-shaped arms. The back with thirteen cylindrical spindles and baluster turned raked supports above the shaped saddle seat raised on raked baluster turned legs joined by a swelled and turned H-form stretcher. SIZE: 38" h (back), 18" h (seat) x 25" w (overall). PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: Very good overall.
