HEPPLEWHITE FIGURED MAPLE DROP LEAF TABLE.First quarter 19th century New England. The rectangular single board top with conforming hinged leaves projecting above the conforming frieze raised on square tapered legs. SIZE: 27-1/2" h x 36" w x 18" d (closed). PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: Top with minor water staining. Old shrinkage split now stabilized. Top has been reset with slotted screws. Legs with minor warping. Fair to good overall condition. 52806-54 HMG (300-500)
