ROUND WOOD TUB WITH CUTOUT HANDLES AND BENTWOOD STAVES IN GREEN PAINT19th century England. Probably designed as a coal hod or wood carrier. Barrel form, now somewhat shrunken around the sides. Pleasing color and patination. SIZE: 21-1/2" h x 21-1/2" dia. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT.
