PAINTED PINE CHECKERS GAME BOARD.Late 19th century American. The single plank board with breadboard ends in red and black paint, primitively drawn. SIZE: 17-1/2" l x 14-1/2" w. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing", South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: The game board with original painted surface, hand planed. The ends fastened with rosehead nails. Normal and expect dry crusty surfaces and abrasions. Structurally sound, very good overall. 52806-44 HMG (300-500)
