Italian Scotti Model X semi-automatic rifle. Chambered for the 6.5mm Carcano cartridge. Produced 1933 and developed by Alfrdo Scotti. Straight pull blow back design with an impinged gas system. Production is believed to be in the area of 250 total. While never adopted for military use these rifles were produced for Italian military trials. This specimen is serial number 14. This number is found on the stock, barrel band, bayonet lug, bolt, barrel and receiver. CONDITION: This rifle is missing the internal striker mechanism and the bolt head assembly. The stock has a live crack to rear of receiver. The blue finish is frosted and turning plum. This is a recent discovery rifle and is totally fresh to the market.
