Lot contains: A) Four New York National Guard belt buckles from the 1870's-1880's, two retain their keepers. B) CNG oval belt buckle, lead-filled back, arrow hooks. Exhibits a number of small dents. C) Washington Greys B belt buckle, Civil War version with thin tongue on the reverse. D) 47 Within Wreath buckle, a National Guard buckle from the 1870's. E) 1870's GHG - Connecticut Militia "Governor's Horse Guard" belt buckle. F) GLI cast brass buckle retaining all of its original gilt finish. G) Two RSWW belt buckles, one tongue broken off. H) Two-piece eagle buckle, the letters "SJC" above the eagle. I) Rectangular buckle with crossed American and Cuban flags on its face. J) TSMR belt buckle, reverse with one bent tongue only. K) Rectangular sheet brass buckle with the letters "NB" on its face. L) Small oval sheet brass cartridge box plate with embossed eagle. M) Two cast brass BBB buckles. N) Two-piece cast brass interlocking eagle buckle. CONDITION: All are in very good to excellent condition. From the Ray Bentley collection.
