Lot contains: A) Pattern 1839 belt plate, reverse with arrow hooks. Retains much of its original gilt finish. B) Pattern 1839 belt plate with arrow hooks. Unissued condition retaining much of its original gilt finish but does show handling marks. C) Pattern 1839 belt plate, reverse with puppy paws, weak W.H. Smith makers stamp. D) Pattern 1839 box plate, retains both reverse hooks. Back marked "W.H. Smith Brooklyn". E) Pair Model 1859 cavalry bridle rosettes with intertwined "USA", lead filled reverses. CONDITION: All in excellent condition. From the Ray Bentley collection.
