Gun (A) is a 660 code Steyr manufacture with a 1939 chamber date and correct WaA623 stock waffenampt. These are known to collectors as the model 29/40 and are very desirable. CONDITION: Rifle has 60% barrel blue with light frosting. Action retains roughly 60% blue. Bore is fair but shootable. Bolt has matching numbers but does not match rest of gun. Action serial number matches stock and other hardware. Front sight looks to be a replacement and rear is original. Missing cleaning rod. Gun (B) is a bnz code Steyr manufacture with a 42 chamber date. Possible slave labor production. CONDITION: Rifle has 70% blue with light blemishes. Action retains 70% blue, worn on the corners. Bore is good and shootable. All matching numbers with Waffenampts on the stock. Original front and rear sights with original front hood cover. Retains original cleaning rod and non-original sling.
