Standard features include full round barrel, 1884 Buffington rear sight, sight protector rear barrel band, serrated checkered trigger, walnut stock is a field replacement with no cartouches, saddle ring and bar. Top of barrel stamped "A", side of barrel has "VP" eagle proof. Block is stamped "US MODEL 1884". Lock stamped with eagle and "US SPRINGFIELD". Rear sight stamped "C" for carbine. Buttplate stamped "US". CONDITION: Barrel retains 95% of a blue-brown arsenal reapplied finish. Block release has reapplied finish. Case colors on block have patterned out. Hammer, frame and sideplate are blue-black. Stock is excellent. Fine action. Bore has visible rifling with minor black powder residue.
