Lot contains: A) Model 1885 Prairie Belt with saber hanger modifications, 45 loops, weak "Rock Island Arsenal" marking. CONDITION: Pliable leather with very minor crazing, no breakage or fraying on the loops. B) Model 1876 Prairie Belt, 54 loops, marked "Watervliet Arsenal". CONDITION: Pliable leather with minor crazing, loops with scattered minor fraying. C) Model 1876 Prairie Belt with 1879 trial modifications, 54 loops, weak "Watervliet Arsenal" markings. This belt retains 54 45/70 cartridges of various manufactures and ages, 27 being Benet inside-primed Frankfort Arsenal rifle cartridges dated 1881 CONDITION: Leather is a bit dry and shows moderate crazing, no breakage or fraying on the loops.
