Lot contains: A) Leather Type "C" chamois-lined flying helmet with elastic snap chinstrap, no wiring or earphones. CONDITION: Excellent condition showing very little wear. B) Leather Type "C" chamois-lined flying helmet with elastic snap chinstrap, no wiring or earphones. CONDITION: Leather shows moderate wear and one goggle strap is loose but remains in very good condition. C) Internally wired Type "D" cloth flying helmet with headset, undamaged satin lining well marked. CONDITION: Excellent condition. D) Type "E" oxygen mask. CONDITION: Excellent condition showing minor wear. E) Pair of MK IV goggles with their original sun screen 'flip' shield. Very rare today to see these offered with the sun shield which is invariably missing. CONDITION: Retains most of its original paint, rear pads are hard. Lenses are excellent and show almost no delamination. F) MKVII flying goggles. Complete with elasticized head strap and sun screen "flip" shield. CONDITION: Very good condition showing moderate service use. Retaining most of the painted finish to the frame. G) MKVII flying goggles. Includes elasticized head strap, missing sun screen shield. CONDITION: Very good condition, retaining about 90% finish to the frame. H) Pair of MKVIII goggles. CONDITION: Excellent. I) Pair of MKVIII goggles. CONDITION: Very good condition with moderate delamination to the lenses. J) Pair of leather gauntlets, interior stamped "Thos Ensor & Sons Makers Milborne Port 1941". CONDITION: Leather is supple, grips show soiling. K) Pair of commercial MKVIII type goggles with plastic backing. CONDITION: Very good. L) Boxed pair of MKVIII goggles with extra lenses.
