Note book measuring 9" by 12" with silver cover exhibiting the crest of The Prince Of Wales Leinster Regiment in raised relief, under which is engraved "Presented To The Officers. 2nd Leinster Regt. By Capt. J. C. Colquhoun On Retirement On 5th March 1907". The cover displays silversmith's touchmarks on the lower left, book contains a number of used ink blotters. Included is a portrait photograph of Capt. Colquhoun, signed by him on the lower right of the backing, measuring 5-3/4" by 8". CONDITION: Leather back cover and spine in very good condition with wear to the lower spine. From the Ray Bentley collection.
