Gun (A) is an 1899 Saddle Ring Carbine that features round barrel, dovetail front sight, ladder rear sight, single band, saddle ring and stud, blued finish walnut stocks and carbine butt. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 50% original blue blending with grey. Frame is grey-blue patina. Several extra holes drilled in bridge and tang. Extra hole on left side of frame. Wood has two 1/2" swivel holes; dark stain at wrist from oil. Very good bore and action. Gun (B) is an 1899 carbine that features round barrel, sporting sights, Schnabel forend, carbine butt, and saddle ring and stud. CONDITION: Metal and wood are refinished. Several repaired cracks at wrist. Buttplate not fitted. Very good bore and action. Great lot for parts but with a little work these would be a couple of decent hunting guns.
