Measuring 9-3/4" high, marked on the bottom "Reed & Barton Silver Soldered 3610 USN", and engraved on its body "USS Missouri" in 3/8" tall letters. A United States Navy Iowa-class battleship, the Missouri was the last battleship commissioned by the United States and is best remembered as the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan which ended World War II. CONDITION: Coffee pot exhibits a number of dents and scratches, ebony handle shows wear to its finish. From the Ray Bentley collection.
