Late 19th to early 20th century, possibly Ohio. Carved from the solid, depicting a young man in a sitting position, hands crossed in lap and with crossed legs. Carved with a pleasant and lifelike smile, attired in a three button jacket with collard shirt, and three quarter length trousers or knickers, posed with bare feet. The carving with professional restoration, painted surfaces have been restored. The torso carved from the solid in two half sections and joined with butterfly clips. Each leg joined to the torso at the thigh. This appears original. Surfaces show normal and expected light wear commensurate with age. Very fine overall. Note: Chair for prop only.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
