Gun (A) is a Remington Rolling Block carbine. Features round barrel, post front sight, military ladder rear sight, single band, walnut stocks, carbine buttplate, rear swivel, saddle ring and bar. Remington address on tang. CONDITION: Barrel is a smooth patina. Frame retains 50% of the reapplied finish. Stocks are very good, revarnished with little brass tacks spelling "R del M". Very good bore and action. Gun (B) manufactured 1879 to 1886. This was a very high quality lever action competitor to Winchester. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting rear sight, Beeches folding front sight, period tang sight (missing aperture), blued finish, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel has sharp legends and is a blue-brown soft patina. Frame has some basic appearance as barrel with some dark salt and pepper texture on top and right side. Stocks are very good to excellent, proud to metal, oil stained with usual dings. Fully operational. Bore exhibits strong lands with frosted grooves and light overall residue.
