Gun (A) is a composite carbine with rifle rear sight. Block is stamped "MODEL 1873" with eagle. "VP" eagle proof on left side of barrel. Ill-fitting saddle bar and ring. CONDITION: Reblued hammer and sideplate. Very good bore and action. Gun (B) is a Model 1884 carbine. Walnut stock has no markings. Proper carbine marked rear sight. Left side of barrel has "VP" eagle proof. Block is stamped "US MODEL 1884". CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 90% reapplied blue finish. Traces of case colors on block. Nice colors on tang. Sideplate and hammer have original blue, as does trigger guard. Stock looks to be a modern replacement. Very good bore and action.
