Lot contains: A) Third type Model 1881 holster with two position flap to accommodate either Colt single action or Smith & Wesson Schofield revolver with belt loop to accommodate an empty cartridge belt. Displays clear oval/US and "Rock Island Arsenal" markings. CONDITION: Holster exhibits minor crazing, intact plug and most of its original finish and is in excellent condition. B) Private purchase Model 1881 holster in russet leather. CONDITION: Holster exhibits minor crazing, strong oval/US, no makers stamp. C) Model 1881 holster modified for Colt Artillery model revolver with 5-1/2" barrel by shortening the body. CONDITION: Holster displays a smooth but moderately worn finish with no crazing but with weak markings. D) Model 1881 holster modified for Colt Artillery model revolver with 5-1/2" barrel by shortening the body. CONDITION: Holster displays a moderately crazed finish with weak markings. The flap stamped "H/9/37". E) M4 russet leather holster for use with the Colt and Smith & Wesson Model 1917 .45 Revolvers. Reverse stamped "Sears". CONDITION: Very good condition exhibiting average service wear. From the Ray Bentley collection.
