Features round barrel, cut-back cylinder, Richard's conversion ring, steel backstrap, brass trigger guard and one piece walnut grips. Ejector rod housing is factory installed. CONDITION: Ramrod is plugged. All factory legends on barrel and frame are sharp. Rebated cylinder scene not visible. All metal is grey patina with no original finish and quite a bit of wear at base. Indexes and locks up like new. Strong, clean rifling with sharp lands and grooves. These early post-Civil War conversions were really the guns that won the West, as they were affordable and extremely durable.
