28" Barrels are marked with Parker address and "VULCAN STEEL" on top rib. Breech ends of barrels are engraved with 2" triangles of semi-relief roses within small scroll. Floral bands are around muzzles. Barrel flats and lumps are marked with all correct numbers for "VHE" as listed in Serial number ledger. 0 Frame with engine turned water table marked "A 1 S" and "8" above and below serial number, features non-automatic safety and double triggers. Action is engraved with full coverage semi-relief swagged and scrolled rose and other floral highlights along with acanthus within a background of simple small scroll. This classically inspired engraving is signed "A Bee" along with bee logo on trigger plate. Matching engraving is on trigger guard. Superbly figured and somewhat mottled stump American walnut Parker capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 - 3/4" over checkered wood butt. Borderless checkering at grip is of semi-fancy pattern with small flourishes into butt separated by ribbons. Matching splinter ejector forend has typical Parker release and patent date on engine turned iron. Included is a brown leather case with leather corners, lined in green felt, which has "Parker Gun" label in lid. CONDITION: Excellent, as custom finished, retaining nearly all professional finishes on wood and metal, with a number of light handling and assembly marks, mostly on left side of butt. Bores are excellent, with evidence of removed dents in right barrel. Mechanically fine. Case is excellent. MGM 2
