26" 28 gauge barrels are marked "Parker Reproduction by Winchester" on left side. Bottoms of barrels are marked for IC and Mod, and with serial numbers and proofs. Lump is marked with grade, gauge and chamber length, as well as 00 frame. 28" .410 Barrels are unmarked on sides. Barrel flats are stamped with serial number,chokes, and with Parker Gunworks proofs. Lump is unmarked. Bone charcoal case hardened action with lightening cuts in water table features automatic safety and single selective trigger. Action is engraved in late Parker style with 80% coverage scroll surrounding single dog on sides, and "PARKER" on bottom. Engraving on trigger plate depicts a trio of pheasant. Scroll engraved trigger guard has serial number on tang. Nicely fiddle figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14 - 1/8" over skeleton steel buttplate, and features "D" grade drop points, point pattern checkering, and vacant gold oval on toe line. Matching splinter ejector forend has typical Parker release. Gun is accompanied by tan leather case, lined in green felt, which has space for action and both sets of barrels. A Parker Reproduction label is in lid. Case contains a pair of 28 gauge snap caps and two keys. Case has tan canvas protective cover. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refinished. Barrels retain nearly all of their original blue. Action retains nearly all of a high quality bone charcoal re-color, as the original colors on these guns are notoriously thin. Stocks also appear to have been lightly refinished. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent. Outer cover has scuffs. MGM 3
