26" Barrels are marked with Parker name and address and engraved "ACME STEEL" on matted rib set with two white beads. Barrel flats are engraved with "A" in a circle. Correct markings are on side and bottom of lump. 0 Frame with automatic safety and double triggers has been nicely engraved in typical early "C" style with well rendered dogs on sides in front of "PARKER BROS" in rectangles. Balance of action is 80% scroll engraved within geometric borders. Trigger plate is engraved with sporting scene of pointing pointer and flushing pheasant. Blued trigger guard with scroll on bow has Serial number on tang. Straight grip stock of stump figured American walnut features classic fancy "C" grade checkering, lozenge shaped drop points, and measures 14 - 3/8" over skeleton steel buttplate. Silver oval on toe line is engraved "L". Matching beavertail forend has added reinforcing bolt and typical Parker release. The Parker Serialization ledger lists this gun as a VH 20 gauge with 26" barrels. Gun is housed in good quality oak and leather case with riveted on brass plated corners, and lined in green cloth. CONDITION: Excellent, close to new as upgraded, retaining essentially all late factory type finishes on wood and metal, with only a few of the slightest handling and assembly marks. Bores are excellent. Case is excellent. MGM 1
