Lot contains (A) Third Reich Era Clamshell Dress Bayonet, (B) Third Reich Era Police Dress Bayonet, (C) Third Reich Era Stag Grip Saw-Back Dress Bayonet. (A) Third Reich Era Clamshell Dress bayonet is overall in excellent condition. The "Carl Eickhorn" chrome plated blade is in excellent condition. The blade exhibits light graying on the 30% of the blade near the tip, random scattered light marks, and a few very small chips to the cutting edge of the blade. The silver plated brass grip fittings and clamshell are in near mint condition. The leather scabbard, with silver plated brass fittings, are in excellent condition with a few small shallow dents to the lower fitting, and scattered light marks to the blackened leather. The brown leather frog and portepee knot are in excellent condition, with a few scattered light marks from natural wear over the years. (B) Third Reich Era Police Dress Bayonet is in, overall, near mint condition. The chrome plated "Alexander Coppel" marked blade is in near mint condition, with very light freckling on 5% of the blades tip. The silver plated brass grip fittings and stag grip are in near mint condition. A white metal third reich police emblem is affixed to the grip, and the cross guard is marked "S.E.I. 527", which corresponds with the same "S.E.I. 527" marked on the upper scabbard fitting, making this a matched set. The leather scabbard is in near mint condition with scattered light marks and a few very small dings on the upper and lower metal fittings. A black leather frog accompanies this set. (C) Third Reich Era Stag Grip Saw-back Dress Bayonet in excellent condition. The chrome plated saw-back blade made by "WKC" is in near mint condition with light freckling and runner marks. The stag grip and metal fittings are in excellent condition, with some scattered light marks and freckling to the silver plating. It appears that the stag grip plates could possibly be replacements. The metal scabbard is in excellent condition, retaining 90% of its original factory black paint. The leather frog which accompanies this set is in near mint condition with a few light scuff marks from the bayonet resting in place.
