Lot contains (A) Army dagger with hanger, (B) Army dagger, (C) police dress bayonet with metal scabbard, (D) police dress bayonet with leather scabbard, and (E) dress bayonet. (A) Heer Officers dagger made by "RICH. ABR. HERDER" in overall very good condition. Has a heavily polished blade in good condition. Crossguard, pommel, and grip are excellent with some discoloration on metal finish. Scabbard is excellent, with some areas of discoloration. Very good hanger and portepee are present. (B) Heer Officer's dagger with unmarked blade is in overall very good condition. Blade has about 5% of the finish being freckled. Crossguard, pommel and grip are excellent, with areas of discoloration to the metal fittings. Scabbard is very good, with discoloration on the sides. Excellent portepee present. (C) Stag handled police dress bayonet with unmarked blade in overall good condition, with 40-45% of the heavily polished blade showing freckling. Handle, crossguard and pommel are very good with a post-war added police emblem. Scabbard appears to have been repainted, and nickle painted finish shows heavy freckling on the top fitting. (D) Police dress bayonet made by "P.D. LUNESCHLOSS" in overall very good condition, has a very good blade showing scattered light marks and areas of freckling. Hand guard, crossguard and grip are very good to excellent, with an emblem added to the grip post war. Good leather scabbard with nickel-plated fittings. (E) Serrated edge dress bayonet is marked with the knight emblem in overall good to very good. Has a very good blade showing heavy polishing and areas of light freckling. Grip, handguard, and crossguard are in good condition, with light marks and freckling throughout. Good leather scabbard and frog.
